The Practice of K. Gosai, M.D. and A.J. Gandhi, M.D. (Southwest Medical Center) specializes in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Nutrition and Metabolism.

Internal medicine pertains to the evaluation and non-surgical treatment of medical illness, preventive medical care, and evaluation of healthy adults. Additional subspecialty expertise provides our physicians with a broad spectrum of talents to manage a host of medical problems.

Examples of the types of medical conditions we treat are: diseases of the heart and blood vessels, bones, intestine, liver, stomach, lungs and respiratory tract, and endocrine organs such as diabetes and thyroid disorders.

We see patients for all types of symptoms, physical complaints, and illnesses, and for the ongoing supervision of healthy individuals. At times your problem may lie outside your physician's area of expertise, at which time an appropriate referral will be made to another physician either within or outside our group.

We encourage our patients to have a personal, primary care physician to provide continuity of care. Every patient in our practice has the advantage of access to the special skills of the other group members, and increased access to those physicians in urgent situations.
